In the spirit of the Left..Right foul cheer:
When the opposing team’s on the free-throw line, shout exactly what the free throw shooter is doing. For everytime the free-throw shooter bounces the ball everyone yells “BOUNCE!!”, “SPIN” for everytime the shooter spins the ball, etc. Just as the shooter is focusing, fans yell out,”Waaaaaaaaaiiiiiiittt……SHOOT” (right when the shooter is about to shoot)!!

Stand up, alumni, stand up!clap..clap (3x) followed by
On your feet! On your feet! Repeated quickly until it fades.

Offense:

• “Set it up” clap..clap, “Shoot for 2″ clap..clap
• “Go-Gophers-Go” clap.clap.clap
• “Here we go, Gophers, here we go, clap..clap
• “Let’s…Go…Go-phers, clap..clap..clap.clap.clap
• Shot Clock Countdown 5…4…3…2…1…

Defense:

• “Air Ball” (repeated 3Xs) and each time the player has the ball for the remainder of the half.

• At 7 seconds on the shot clock 5…4…3…2…1…

Free Throws - Gophers:

• BE QUIET during free throws. . . before and between. . . go crazy!
• During Freethrows: (Hands up) When 1st is made yell “Whoosh” (while bringing hands down). When 2nd is made yell “Whoosh, Whoosh” (while bringing hands down), then yell “U of M”!

Others:

• When opposing player fouls out: Left, Right, Left, Right, Sit Down! (If the player is standing, repeat standing and then go back to the Left Right when player moves)
